Dr. Huang Guojian

In 1983, he entered the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Nanjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (now Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine) to study. After graduation in 1988, he worked in the Department of Internal Medicine of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 1991, he studied for a master’s degree in integrated Chinese and Western medicine at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. In 1994, he was admitted to the doctoral program of integrated Chinese and Western medicine at Peking Union Medical College and Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Later, he worked at the China-Japan Friendship Clinical Medicine Institute in Beijing. In 1998, he was hired by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Manitoba in Canada to conduct postdoctoral research.

In 2005, he opened the Ankang Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Rehabilitation Center in Winnipeg, Canada.

Dr. Huang Guojian edited and published “Practical Single Prescription Treatment Guide”, “Chinese Medicine Single Prescription Application Encyclopedia”, “Acupuncture Single Point Application Encyclopedia”, and co-edited “Middle-aged Health Care Complete Book”, and published dozens of academic papers at home and abroad.

Dr. Huang Guojian is good at using mini blade needle therapy, thread embedding therapy, floating needle and traditional Chinese medicine to treat various pain syndromes, infertility, common diseases and difficult diseases. He is currently the chairman of the Canadian Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Alliance, chairman of the Canadian Ankang Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Rehabilitation Center, chairman of the Manitoba Professional Acupuncture Association, president of the Canadian Mini-Blade Needle Research Association, president of the Canadian branch of the World Chinese Medicine Acupoint Embedding Therapy Society, vice chairman of the Canadian Holistic Medicine Research Institute, executive director of the World Chinese Traditional Chinese Medicine Forum, executive director of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Zhongjing Inheritance and Innovation Professional Committee, a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and the Canadian Pain Society (CPS).
